A DIVA meets the YOUNG DIVA!!! September 20, 2008

Consistently, Charice keeps her audience amazed with her soulful, distinct voice from the first time she got featured  by American Television.  Late last year, she was showed up at Ellen Degeneres Show for being one of the 12th Christmas Gift of Ellen to her supporting audiences. In May, she was invited by Oprah Winfrey to be in her show featured as one of the “Most Talented Kid in the World”. Right after that exposure she was seen at Mandalay Hotel singing for Mr. David Poster’s Concert together with those big stars in the music industry namely Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Michael Buble and among others. Few months after, she flew to Tuscany, Italy to had a duet to world re-known tenor Mr. Andrea Bocelli on his birthday concert.

Without knowing, from the start she was featured by Ophrah Show last May until she guested again last September 9, 2008, Oprah followed her. The show was all about Charice and how she overcome all those trials she had her life. Ophrah known as “ferry mother”  to her audience, she make into reality one of Charice dream which is to have a duet with her idol Ms. Celine Dion.  Oprah surprise Charice of her idol Ms. Celine Dion via Satellite giving her message and inviting her personally to have a duet with her at Madison Square in New York City.

On September 15, it was a dream big night for Charice to have a duet with her idol Ms. Celine Dion singing Celine’s song “Because You Love Me” which Ms. Dion personally choose the song to be dedicated to Charice’s mother. It was really amazing showing Charice on stage with Ms. Dion and even some people were crying when Charice started to sing. She really blown up the people who watched the show and it was the highlight of Ms. Celine Dion’s Concert. 

Upon seeing the DIVA and the future DIVA, it’s explainable. You really feel how God loves us and giving us blessing in any forms.

Upon seeing her at Ophra Winfrey Show, I can’t help to cry because finally she started reaping her ultimate dream “to be an international star”. She has been trying all through out her life to be where she is now. Finally at the age of 16 years old, she starts living on it. Despite of all the trials, she never give up on achieving her dream.  Her story is somewhat reflection on our life too. We often to complaint to God, the obtacles, trials in life that sometimes we want to give up. But always remember that God give us this problem for us to learn from it. Like Charice, she almost give up after she losed the contest of a local show in the Philippines but instead of giving up she never stop until God gave her another gift that is more what she expect.

I know Charice you have a long way to go on your carreer. Just always remember that whatever happens God is always there for you. To those people who lose hope just think this girl who is not just idol but also an inspiration to everyone on how she pass through all the problems in life.
