Each year, we celebrate different occassions and celebrations and one of that is our NATAL DAY or commonly known us “Birthday”. This is the day where in you will render a single day to give time for your family, friends and of course to yourself.  This is also the moment where you give thanks to our almighty father for all the blessings that you received. These are just a typhical things we do eveytime our birthday comes. Are we still practicing these things?

Just recently, I attended a birthday party of VISMIN Regional Sales Manager Mr. Rodolfo “Rudy Fadrilan at CDO Foodsphere, Inc. Cebu Branch. It was just a simple night for everybody but for sir Rudy it was a memorable night because it shows that people loves him. His closest friends, workers and some business partners were all present on that night except his family. His family who supposedly be there to celebrate with him was not there on that important moment of his life. It was sad when I saw his daughter on the video greeting him wishing they are with him at that moment celebrating with him.  

I was just thinking, if how many people who are truly happy on the day of their birthday? Are they just faking? What is really makes the person happy on the day of his birhday?

Upon seeing her at Ophra Winfrey Show, I can’t help to cry because finally she started reaping her ultimate dream “to be an international star”. She has been trying all through out her life to be where she is now. Finally at the age of 16 years old, she starts living on it. Despite of all the trials, she never give up on achieving her dream.  Her story is somewhat reflection on our life too. We often to complaint to God, the obtacles, trials in life that sometimes we want to give up. But always remember that God give us this problem for us to learn from it. Like Charice, she almost give up after she losed the contest of a local show in the Philippines but instead of giving up she never stop until God gave her another gift that is more what she expect.

I know Charice you have a long way to go on your carreer. Just always remember that whatever happens God is always there for you. To those people who lose hope just think this girl who is not just idol but also an inspiration to everyone on how she pass through all the problems in life.

A DIVA meets the YOUNG DIVA!!! September 20, 2008

Consistently, Charice keeps her audience amazed with her soulful, distinct voice from the first time she got featured  by American Television.  Late last year, she was showed up at Ellen Degeneres Show for being one of the 12th Christmas Gift of Ellen to her supporting audiences. In May, she was invited by Oprah Winfrey to be in her show featured as one of the “Most Talented Kid in the World”. Right after that exposure she was seen at Mandalay Hotel singing for Mr. David Foster’s Concert together with those big stars in the music industry namely Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Michael Buble and among others. Few months after, she flew to Tuscany, Italy to had a duet to world re-known tenor Mr. Andrea Bocelli on his birthday concert.

Without knowing, from the start she was featured by Ophrah Show last May until she guested again last September 9, 2008, Oprah followed her. The show was all about Charice and how she overcome all those trials she had her life. Ophrah known as “ferry mother”  to her audience, she make into reality one of Charice dream which is to have a duet with her idol Ms. Celine Dion.  Oprah surprise Charice of her idol Ms. Celine Dion via Satellite giving her message and inviting her personally to have a duet with her at Madison Square in New York City.

On September 15, it was a dream big night for Charice to have a duet with her idol Ms. Celine Dion singing Celine’s song “Because You Love Me” which Ms. Dion personally choose the song to be dedicated to Charice’s mother. It was really amazing showing Charice on stage with Ms. Dion and even some people were crying when Charice started to sing. She really blown up the people who watched the show and it was the highlight of Ms. Celine Dion’s Concert. 

Upon seeing the DIVA and the future DIVA, it’s explainable. You really feel how God loves us and giving us blessing in any forms.

 Matapos masalanta ang Metro Manila sa bagyong ONDOY nitong last weekend. Maraming mga grupo ang nagtulong-tulong para mabigyan ng relief goods ang ating mga kababayan. Lingid ng nakakarami na sa gabi ng sababo naglibot na si Angel Locsin para makita ang sitwasyon sa mga nasalanta. Noong gabi ding yun, namigay ang sikat na actress ng tubig at damit na pasi-unang tulong nya sa mga biktima. Nag-donate rin ang dalaga ng Php 500,000.00 pesos.

 Kahapon nagpunta ang grupo ng dalaga kasama sina Candy Pangilinan, Erma Adlawan at mga kaibigan nito sa Payatas, Quezon City para magbigay ng tulong din sa mga nasalanta. Personal na nag-packing ang dalaga at binigay ang mga ito sa mga biktima. “Sila ang mas nangangailangan ng tulong dahil sila yung walang mapapatungan, walang second floor ang bahay. Wipe out talaga sila”, lahad ng aktres. Dumating din sa area ang Sagip Kapamilya ng ABS-CBN para magdala rin ng tulong.

Tulad sa kanyang ginampanang karacter in 2005 bilang DARNA pinatunayan ni Angel Locsin sa panahong ganito na siya ang tagapagligtas ng nangangailangan. Makita mo na may puso at bukas loob na tumulong hindi lang sa karakter kundi sa totoong buhay.

After her unsuccessful soap ang “Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang”, Marian Rivera will be back into fantaserye genre playing DARNA na naging markado ito three years ago na pinagbidahan ng sexy at Only You Star Ms. Angel Locsin. Marami ang nagulat dahil parang hindi pa talaga nakapag.move on ang GMA-7 sa pagkawala ng kanilang Ultimate Primetime Queen na si Ms. Angel Locsin. Lalo na ngayong naghihikahos ang ratings nila these past few months.

Mas lalong nakakagulat dahil may lumabas recently na banner ni Marian Rivera wearing DARNA Costume. I read on forum that it was real picture of Ms. Angel Locsin when she played Darna at pina.photoshop lang ito gamit ang mukha ni Marian. Maraming fans ni Ms. Locsin ang nag-react dahil katawan ng actress ang ginamit at mas lalong masakit dahil pinirmahan pa ito ni Marian ang banner na alam naman nya siguro na hindi nya ito katawan.

In my opinion, it was out of respect to Ms. Angel Locsin. Ms. Angel Locsin played DARNA three years ago with flying colors at isa ito sa mga pinaka-highest rating na natala sa telebisyon on that time. Huwag naman nating sirain dahil lang sa gusto nating sumikat ulit.
